Governance Board members
Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC) is seeking six dynamic individuals with a passion for innovation to join its Governance Board from November 2019.
Since launching in October 2014, CSIC have supported over 300 collaborative innovation projects tackling some of the sector’s key challenges and opportunities and delivering over £800 million of additional revenue to the Scottish economy through unique partnerships between industry and Scotland’s world class academic expertise.
Supported by £11 million core funding from Scottish Government, Scottish Funding Council, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise, CSIC’s Phase 2 programme commenced on 1stJune 2019 and will focus on supporting the construction industry to deliver economic, social and environmental impact across Scotland.
As a member of the Board you will be expected to play a central role in guiding our strategic direction and supporting and promoting the crucial role innovation plays within the industry.
Board members will be recognised leaders in their field and while you don’t need to have a construction background (we’re keen to hear from anyone with a passion for innovation), you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to supporting CSIC’s mission of mainstreaming an innovation culture across the Scottish construction industry.
