Offsite Construction

Finding ways to continually improve the way we manufacture and build is paramount to the overall productivity of the Scottish Construction sector.

Offsite construction opens up an entirely new opportunity for the construction industry in Scotland. As a manufacturing process, operators can now manufacture and pre-assemble components and elements within a factory before delivery for final installation.

As a result, organisations who adopt offsite methods can benefit from improved efficiency, reduced waste, a more consistent production line and a higher quality finished product.

It is essential that the industry keeps pace with new innovations and technologies and our Offsite Manufacturing campaign aims to support, inform and engage organisations within the built environment to look towards the future through a range of focused activity including related events, news stories, funding opportunities and more.

The campaign will run throughout May and June 2018. All of our scheduled activity and offsite related information can be found below.
