Immersive Online Training Courses

Online training in Passivhaus design and standards using immersive learning techniques that provide the learners the opportunities to receive experiences similar to those they would receive if undertaking the physical Passivhaus training workshops.

Passivhaus Workshops

Delivered in the CSIC's Innovation Factory, using Passivhaus rigs, learners will gain hands-on experience to develop their practical skills. This training could also be delivered to trainers and educators across Scotland who could pass this knowledge on through individual units that can be built into existing energy programmes and delivered and assessed using the online training courses.

Passivhaus buildings achieve a 75% reduction in space heating requirements, compared to standard practice for UK new builds. The Passivhaus standard therefore gives a robust method to help the industry achieve the 80% carbon reductions that are set as a legislative target for the UK Government.
